Entity Lookbook

Drawing deep inspiration from classic horror films such as "The Exorcist," "The Ring," "The Entity," "Supernatural," and "The Conjuring," this collection revisits the iconic imagery and themes from these movies and their respective eras (1980s and 1990s). The collection aims to provoke thought about the concepts of ugliness and the grotesque, not just within the context of these films, but also across history, exploring how these elements are intricately tied to notions of grace and beauty. This fashion line doesn't just replicate significant visual motifs from horror film history; it also captures the essential feelings these films evoke—intense emotions, curiosity about pain, disaster, and the eerie unknown that accompanies fear. The designs feature elongated silhouettes and expansive pieces, meticulously crafted from natural fabrics like silk, linen, and cotton, reflecting the dark allure and complexity of the horror genre. By intertwining the aesthetic of horror with high fashion, the collection challenges traditional perceptions of beauty and evokes a potent blend of intrigue and elegance.

The collection seeks inspiration in horror movies that have become supernatural classics over the years, such as "The Exorcist," "The Ring," "The Entity," "Supernatural," and "The Conjuring." It references the entire imagetic part of the scripts and also their creation eras (1980s and 1990s), proposing a reflection on the concept of ugliness and the grotesque, not only within the context of the films, but also in history as a whole, and the manner in which these concepts are also linked to the idea of grace and beauty. The idea is not to just bring important imagetic signs from the history of horror, but also to reveal (or suggest) the main feeling of its premise: the appeal for strong and primitive emotions, the curiosity about pain and disaster, the curiosity that permeates all that is grotesque and obscure which is not so strange to us, the fear. The collection features elongated silhouettes and broad pieces, all crafted from natural fabrics such as silk, linen, and cotton.
This collection was inspired by classic horror films, exploring not only the visual aesthetic but also the intense emotions and themes that permeate these iconic movies. Over the years, films such as "The Exorcist," "The Ring," "The Entity," "Supernatural," and "The Conjuring" have shaped not only the horror genre but also popular culture, infusing elements of fear, suspense, and the supernatural into our collective understanding of what is aesthetically disturbing yet simultaneously beautiful. The collection aims to capture the essence of these narratives, reflecting on the duality between the grotesque and the beautiful, and how these concepts can be expressed through fashion. Using natural fabrics such as silk, linen, and cotton, the pieces feature elongated and ample silhouettes that suggest both elegance and discomfort, evoking the emotional depth and characteristic profundity of these films. Thus, the collection invites the audience on a stylistic journey where fashion meets horror, challenging conventions and celebrating the complexity of human expression in the face of fear and fascination with the unknown.
